The series MASTERS OF CLASSICAL MUSIC presents popular works of the pre-classical, classical and romantic periods as well as 20th century music. The series will include eight releases. The first programme (GD 245) features pieces by Grieg - Peer Gynt (Suite No, 1 op. 46), Sibelius - The Swan of Tuonella, Haendel - fragments from Water Music, and Suppe - Overture from Dichter and Bauer.
