Violinist Leslee Smucker is an outstanding artist and performer, and her work “Personae” project is an excellent example of her artistry. Leslee is currently working on her Doctorate of Musical Arts at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and her highly acclaimed performances have brought her to stages across the globe. She is an active performer, teacher, collaborator, and artist, and her passion for blending the arts together has led to many innovative projects. Leslee is sure to bring a captivating and unique interpretation of “Personae” to life with her skillful playing and creative vision.


·The title “Personae” derives from a collection of short poems by Pound of the same name dated 1909. In Pound’s musical works, he often rejects traditional musical forms and replaces them with poetic forms including the sestina.
