Svetozar Ivanov is a musician who undertakes various creative activities. He has performed as recitalist and orchestra soloist in some of the most famous concert halls worldwide: Carnegie, Merkin, and Steinway Halls in New York City, Salle Gaveau in Paris, The Bethaniënklooster in Amsterdam, Mansfield 22 in London, etc., and has made numerous appearances at prestigious piano festivals in Belgium, Italy, Germany, Denmark, Bulgaria, Crete, Northern Ireland, San Francisco and Florida in the United States, etc. He is Professor of Piano at University of South Florida, serves as Artist Faculty at Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in Vermont, and is the Artistic Director of the Steinway Piano Series in Florida. Svetozar Ivanov has also made numerous recordings and has released two solo piano compact discs and another one together with the pianist Carolyn Stuart.
As in his previous releases, the pianist has selected for this programme some interesting works and various musical styles and epochs.
